LG Styler Washing Machine Cleans Your Clothes Without Water

Consumer electronics manufacturers are now focusing on creating home appliances that are eco-friendly and power efficient. As an example, Korea-based company LG is concentrating on a smart washing machine that freshens your clothes without using detergent and water.
Presented at the recent CES trade show, the LG Styler is certainly a one of a kind household appliance if it becomes a reality. The key element behind the Styler is steam and the moving hanger action that can reduce wrinkles and eliminates odors on different types of fabrics such as sweaters, shirts including delicate suits and blouses.
It works by spraying steam on clothes that makes it smell fresh while the moving hanger shakes the clothes to reduce wrinkles and dust. Aromatic scent can be added in the cabinet as an option. Users can certainly conserve money on dry cleaning expenses by investing on the LG Styler. In terms of design, it has a modern, elegant finish with illuminated touchscreen controls that complement the interior decor of any bedrooms or laundry area.
Aside from the Styler, the company is also developing another washing machine model that doesn’t use water. The process behind it is still a trade secret since it’s still on the development stages. LG isn’t willing to divulge how the “magic laundry” is performed until the final product arrives.
