Sony is rumoured to be creating a unique combo-console thing which refers to the bundling of its next-gen video gaming console and recently-releasedPlayStation 4 with PS Vita, the company’s portable console. The bundle is said to be destined for UK in time for the holidays. Although the image of the purported bundle speaks for itself, Sony needs to confirm this fact yet as the season is getting nearer and to apprise fans out there about its veracity or truthfulness.
The combo or bundle idea seems to be less surprising considering that PS4 is already fitted with a streaming functionality that allows it to stream games to the portable device through the Remote Play, and the Vita is coping with the install base thing until now. There’s no word as to when the Ultimate bundle hits the shores of the US and as to price when it hits UK.
The Vita is already filled with 3,000 updates to date and as a result, it can now collaborate with the PS4 for some next-gen games as well as become a second screen (SmartGlass-like) for some of them. Sony is spending £2.5 million for a TV campaign to promote the portable or handheld gaming device but release date is yet to be announced for now.
