New Lumia 525 With Bigger RAM, To Release on Asia and Middle East

The Lumia series from Nokia is again getting a refresh with the outing of Lumia 525 touted to be the next Windows Phone successor. There is less fanfare observed with this official announcement since Lumia 525 has long been the subject of rumors in the wild. The successor to Lumia 520 proves to be identical in some respects particularly the specs under the hood.
They differ only in system memory capacity with the old version getting only 512MB and the new version getting 1 GB, which resolved the issue pertaining to apps requiring 1 GB of memory in order to function normally. The rest of the specs remain the same such as a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor and a mass memory of 8 GB.
This Lumia also retains the display size of 4-inch and resolution of 800 x 480 WVGA. It has a Monoblock touch design with a Touch User input. Connectivity comes in Bluetooth, USB 2.0 and WLAN. Data network is for WCDMA and GSMcompatibility while phone dimension is 119.9mm x 64mm x 9.9 mm. with a weight of 124g. Unlike the 520, the Lumia 525 will not be initially available in the U.S. but in other countries in the Middle East, Africa and the Asia Pacific where Singapore will have its launch in December 14 with the price tag for the Windows-phone set at $199.
