Nvidia is out with yet another ground-breaking GPU model based on the award-winning GTX 780 graphics series and utilizing Kepler-based GK110 chip. The turbocharged GeForce GTX 780 Ti claims to be the fastest GPU in the market today challenging AMD’s flagship, Radeon R9 290X.
Indeed, Nvidia made this beast a force to be reckoned with by unlocking all 2880 CUDA Cores (compared with GTX Titan’s 2668 and GTX 780′s 2304), setting its base clock to 875 MHz, boost frequency to 928 MHz, 3GB /384-bit GDDR5 memory and an amazing 7.0 Gbps memory speed. The result is a 20% speed advantage from the GTX 780 and an impressive 50% speed bump from GTX 680. The new GTX 780 Ti is absolutely combat-ready for new and upcoming game titles.
In addition, the 780 Ti supports lower thermal density at just 250 watts providing cool, quieter and more power efficient system. Other specs include PCI Express 3.0, OpenGL 4.3, DirectX 11, 3D support, display ouput: DVI-I, DVI-D, HDMI, Mini-DP; 4-way SLI support and software module that comes with driver updates including GeForce Experience to customize settings and ShadowPlay for seamless, minimal performance impact recording of gameplays.
Nvidia also made the 780 Ti ready for 4K-supported game titles and Ultra HD monitors with 3840 x 2160 resolution . In a 2-way SLI configuration, the GPU garnered over 60 fps for Skyrim and supports the forthcoming 4K Ubisoft flagship: Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.
Nvidia is offering the GeForce 780 Ti for a price tag of $699 ( Titan is priced at $999 while GTX 780 is at $499). The company has also bundled this GPU with game titles and Nvidia Shield. Watch the video for more details.
